At the Marion Centre of Excellence, we've designed a summer programme especially for young people who love creativity, imagination and learning in a relaxed, supportive environment. Every activity has been carefully planned to build confidence, develop new skills and help children discover talents they never knew they had.

Bring imagination to life!
Working alongside a specialist animator, children will design and create their own animated characters and short films from scratch.
They'll learn:
Character design
Storyboarding
Animation techniques
Digital creativity
Problem solving
A fantastic introduction to one of today's fastest-growing creative industries.
▶ 🎙️ Professional Music Recording
Experience what it's like to record in a real music studio!
A professional mobile recording studio comes to the Marion Centre, giving every child the opportunity to record their own music with guidance from an experienced music producer.
Children will learn:
Recording techniques
Microphone skills
Vocal confidence
Music production
Teamwork and creativity
This is an experience many young people never have the opportunity to try.
▶🎤 Songwriting & English
Does your child love music or simply struggle to enjoy traditional English lessons?
Our songwriting sessions help children express themselves through music while naturally developing their reading, writing, spelling and communication skills. They'll write original lyrics, build confidence with words and discover that English can be creative, enjoyable and meaningful.
Perfect for children who enjoy music, storytelling or creative writing.
▶🎧 DJ Academy
Learn to DJ using professional equipment.
Students will be introduced to real DJ decks and learn how DJs mix music, beat match tracks and build exciting playlists.
Throughout the sessions they'll develop:
Confidence
Listening skills
Rhythm
Performance skills
Creativity
By the end of the programme they'll be ready to perform their own short DJ set.

Maths suddenly makes sense when it's connected to real life.
Children take part in fun enterprise projects where they'll create ideas, budget, calculate costs, set prices and work out profit and loss.
Rather than worksheets, they'll learn practical maths skills they can use every day while developing entrepreneurial thinking and confidence.
